Between Us

Based on the book by Christa J. Valentine, “Hope for Brokenness,” Between Us is about Christa, a woman struggling with mental illness, and her estranged daughter Jess. After their divorce, Christa’s husband uses her mental health to take away her custody of Jess. Occasionally, she’ll try to reach out to Jess but her ex-husband and his new wife do everything they can to turn Jess against her. Eventually, with time Jess and Christa find their way back to each other in this difficult yet heart-warming story of a mother-daughter relationship.
