The Issachar Initiative is a new organization that was birthed out of the 2010 Lausanne Congress in Cape Town, South Africa. It exists to challenge church leaders to mobilize resources around those places in the world that are physically and spiritually impoverished. My Chicago friend, Jesse Oxford, was asked to write and direct Issachar’s first ever promotional film. I came on board to produce all of the live action scenes, which required building five unique sets, a 10 person crew, and casting 20 actors. In two days of shooting at Pollution Studios downtown LA, we traveled from Nepal to North Korea to Africa and more. The motion graphics and VFX were finishing back in Chicago. We delivered the final product in January 2012, and the video can be seen below, and on the Issachar website.
